This Week It’s All About Cioppino!

It’s Crab season in Northern California and that means this is the best time to enjoy quintessential California Cuisine: Cioppino.

In lieu of Mural Monday, I’m displaying Cioppino created at Silver’s at The Wharf, a restaurant located in Fort Bragg.

Silver’s Cioppino has tiger prawns, clams, rock cod, mussels, bay shrimp braised in tomato broth, habanero-basil garlic coulis, Asiago cheese, Ft. bragg Bakery organic sourdough garlic toast (sourdough being another quintessentially Californian delight) and, of course, a heapful of fresh large dungeness crab.
